For amplified live shows and recordings Nelson uses his beloved Gibson Les Paul Standard- 'Paula'. He also has a  a 60's Fender Telecaster. For acoustic shows Nelson has always used Gibson acoustics. His collection includes a 1974 B25 , Nelson has also recently aquired a new Gibson J45 and Gibson J200.
